If you are not sure your child will get into aggressive inline skating, you might want to get these. However, if they like the sport, they will most certainly want a REAL pair of aggressive skates within a month. Having decent equipment makes all the difference. I would recommend Razor or USD Junior skates which run around 100 bucks and are adjustable up to 4 sizes. The TRS Junior skate by rollerblade is better than this Fury skate, but not nearly as good as the other 2 junior skates mentioned. If you are not a junior size, I would recommend any other Rollerblade aggressive models...some are as cheap as 130$ or any Razor models.I have been skating for 11 year and have taught for many years.
