(More customer reviews)I originally purchased the K2 Alexis but had to return them because my heels kept lifting up off the foot bed, making me feel unstable. I tried tightening them more, but in order to make my heel stay put I almost had to cut off circulation in my foot! So back to the store they went.
I then picked up the Rollerblade Spiritblade, and wow, what a difference! I have slim ankles, and these skates give great ankle support and my heel did not slide up. I don't have to spend any time adjusting them; I just put them on and strap them up. They are so comfortable! With skates, comfort is key to feeling confident.
These skates go fast and give a smooth ride. Even when I rode on a bumpy road I always felt in control. The adjustable break is a great feature as well.
These skates don't come in half sizes, so if you are between sizes, like myself (7 1/2), go a size bigger. I know that usually with inline skates you are told to go a size smaller, but in my case the size bigger was just right.
