They were a bit tight, but all I had to do is loosen the strings up a little and they felt so much better my next time around. They work great and provide a pretty nice, smooth ride. Not to mention they look good! Much better then my cheap Target pair. Overall I feel these are a great pair of skates and I highly recommend them.
